Most Dangerous (Aka Stupidest) Selfies Ever Taken

Human beings are always trying to figure out how to push the envelope on things. Plus, we always like to one up each other, it’s just our way. If that guy took a selfie on top of a bridge, I’m gonna take one on top of a higher bridge. If that chic took a selfie hanging off of a moving train, I’m gonna take one hanging off of the Space Shuttle – which no one has done yet but it’s just a matter of time before someone tries. And while these images are indeed thrilling to look at, they are getting ridiculously dangerous to take.
From the top of the world’s tallest buildings to running with the bulls, here are some of the most dangerous (AKA stupidest) selfies ever taken.

Okay, a thumb is all you can give up right now you need your other fingers to hold on to anything around you that will keep you from plummeting to the ground below. Which is not actually a joke. There are selfies out there of people who, right after taking them, fell to their death. Which is why these are dangerous and stupid.

Okay, you thought the guys in the last shot were crazy, at least they had a proper little platform and somewhat of a cage around them. But this guy? Nope, just sitting on the very top of a suspension bridge with nothing really to grab onto should a strong wind come along. Or an angry bird.

Ummmm, you know the bull is like, LITERALLY 2 feet behind you right? All this guy has to do is take one second to check and see if he got the shot and soon the color of his pants will match the color of his shirt and he will never father children. Put the camera away dude and just keep running for your life.

How is he even taking this picture? His feet are dangling, so they aren’t holding him in place. His one hand is in the shot not doing much of anything, and we’re guessing his other hand is holding his smartphone (ironic). So, what, is he suspended by his belt? This is a truly horrifying image.

First of all, look at that cute little space camera thingy he or she is using. This is an actual shot by the way. And it’s dangerous because at any minute a meteor or comet could come by and detach them from their harness and they will float out into space and eventually run out of oxygen. You saw the movie Gravity, right? Space is serious people, you shouldn’t be taking selfies.

Well, now, in her defense she didn’t know this was going to turn out to be a very dangerous selfie. What are the chances that she would stand right in the very spot where a foul ball would eventually come whizzing along? We have no idea how this turned out but are hoping it just missed her head.

Um, from what we read this is a Danish fighter pilot taking a selfie flying mid-air. And out the window that would appear to be… uh… oh, it looks like a missile blowing past. Hmmm, was that missile aimed at him? If so, he might want to put his little phone away and put both hands on the steering thing and get the h*ll outta there!
