Senator Godswill Akpabio has hit out at Sahara
Reporters over reports linking him to the ownership of Lekki Gardens,
the now sealed real estate firm whose collapsed 5-storey building on
March 8 left 31 dead.
The senate minority leader took to Twitter to vent his spleen, slamming Sahara Reporters as journalists for hire who should not be taken seriously by Nigerians. He further stated that they have been bought over by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), and have lost all credibility.
Sahara Reporters then accused the former governor of derailing the progress of Akwa Ibom State after cruelly embezzling their funds, alleging that he can’t run away from justice forever.
